Status Report is a combined client app for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare. The focus is on getting a quick overview over what’s happening in all your feeds in an integrated interface without having to check multiple apps. It is not a substitute for the respective services’ own apps for doing more advanced stuff like adding new friends, reading private messages etc.

It is smart enough to notice when a status update from e.g. Twitter is mirrored to a Facebook account and combines them into one, so you don’t have to read the same update twice (but you can still access the metadata from both services, so you can both retweet the tweet and like the mirrored Facebook post from the app for example).

Features:
Combines your news feeds from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Foursquare into a grand unified feed.

Twitter:
• Reply, retweet, favorite.
• Post new tweets.
• Follow links in tweets and add them to Instapaper for reading later.

Facebook:
• See status updates, links, photos and check-ins.
• Post new status updates.
• Like and comment from within the app.
• Follow links, add them to Instapaper for reading later.

Instagram:
• Like and comment on pictures.

Foursquare:
• Post shouts.
• Comment on check-ins.

Status Report is optimized for reading your consolidated feeds, but you can also post simple status messages (140 characters) and choose which of your different accounts to post it from.

Status Report is also excellent for keeping up with the feeds from social networks that you have joined at some point but aren’t participating in a lot. Now they just get mixed in with the feeds from the services you are more invested in without you having to check a separate app or web site.
